I heard this story from a friend. I don't remember who told me, but here it is.
There once was this guy who had moved into a building which had a view out into the other buildings next to it. In the other building, there was this beautiful women who he had always seen. She was so beautiful and she loved to dance because he would watch her as she danced around in her room. For a long time he had admired her from afar in his apartment, and one day while he was watching her she was dancing all day non-stop. He finally got the courage to go over to her apartment and introduce himself to her. He finally got to the other building and up to her door when he knocked and the door opened. He walked over to where he always saw her dancing. What he saw when he got to the room was that she had hung herself in the room. He thought he had saw her dancing the whole day, but actually, she had hung herself and was swinging back and forth the whole day. He had been staring at her swinging corpse and thought she was dancing.

Who's under the bed sheets?
This is a story told to me from Peter, my brother, and it is about his girlfriend's brother. This is according to what I remember.
This took place early morning, maybe 6ish I think, at his girlfriends house. Her brother sleeps in the basement and had just gotten up and went to get something to drink in the kitchen upstairs. When he came back downstairs, there was someone sitting on his bed with the blankets over their head. He thought that it was his friend because the night before, his friend had came over to spend the night at his house. He walked over to his bed and touched the blanket where the head was, and the blanket just falls flat down on the bed as if no one was under it at all. He got freaked out and ran upstairs to find his friend sleeping on the couch.

Missing chicken
Shortly after my grandpa passed away, strange things started happening to my grandma. This is one of those stories. If I remember correctly, this is what happened.
My grandma was preparing to cook a whole chicken and she had removed it out of the fridge and had left it in the sink to be cleaned before cooking. She was about to start cleaning it when someone had called my grandma to go outside for a bit. She left for a little while and came back to the house to find the chicken missing from the sink where she had placed it before. After awhile of searching for the chicken, she finally looked in the bin where she keeps her rice and there it was just sitting in there. There was no one home at that time to move the chicken around and obviously no one in their right mind would put an uncooked chicken in that rice bin.

First time seeing grandpa scared
This is probably the incident that I remember the most from my childhood.
This happened way back when I was in elementary school, probably in 3rd or 4th grade. During this time, my family still lived in these apartments that were said to be haunted and some lady hung herself in the basement. It was late, maybe 9ish, and my grandpa likes to take leisure walks around the apartments (even at night). My grandpa was a shaman, or txiv neeb, and if your hmong, then you should know what that is, and my grandpa was never afraid of any spirits or anything paranormal of that kind. He was walking through this little tunnel that connected the two last apartments of the complex, we lived at the last one. The tunnel had no light at night, and was maybe only 15 to 20 feet long. While approaching the end of the tunnel, he saw a dark figured lady standing there. He spoke to her and thought she was one of the older woman who lived in one of the apartments. The figure said nothing and walked towards a path that led to the back of the apartments. My grandpa followed her and she walked around the corner and disappeared from his view. As he walked around the corner, the lady had already somehow reached the other side of the apartment complex. The distance from where my grandpa was to the end of the complex was probably a good 5th of a mile. There was no explaining how she had traveled that distance in such short time, but my grandpa was so scared that he started to run back to our apartment. When he got home, he told us what had happened and that he had never been so scared before and it seemed like it took an forever to run back to the apartment. Later, my grandma went outside and lit incense, or hlawv xyab, to ward off the spirit.
I was still young at this time, but this is what I could remember from the incident.

Ghost Stories!!
Hiya guys!
I got bored today in the library and decided to create a blog about hmong ghost stories. Yes I was bored, and yes I know its exam week and I should be studying but I felt like taking a break haha :) Anyways, I'll be posting up some stories for you guys to read. It may be stories that some of you have already heard from me or not but I'll just post some up anyways. Also, I'm wanting you guys to send me stories of your own too! I'll post it up on my page also with credits to you of course. Oh, and if you don't want to do that because it takes too much time (lazy people lol) then just post it yourself in the comments of which ever story you were reading.
Please read, enjoy, and I guess.. um.. *subscribe* haha. First time I've even ever asked of anyone to do that lol.
